
Before his execution on June 1st 2001, Timothy McVeigh was charged with 168 counts of murder. He was a terrorist in the very country he served.
I think all this watching Alcatraz has got me way too intrigued by criminals and prisoners.
In all seriousness though, what could possibly motivate someone to steal the life of another? It’s sickening to think about the harm these people have inflicted on other men, women, and even children - but at the same time humbling and eerily sobering.
Some were repentant, some weren’t. All sinned, and yet so have I.
This is a fallen world we live in, a beautiful and terrible world.
