I think my photography professor said it best, though this isn’t a direct quote. If the image could not convey the same meaning or emotion if the person was clothed, and if the fact that the person is nude contributes something meaningful to the photo then it is most likely art, not porn. Nude photography should not be made with the purpose of leading someone to stumble, like porn is. There’s a line between something being overtly sexual and something like say, Sally Mann’s work. Personally I think two of the most beautiful things on earth are light and skin, the human body is beautifully made, and I do not at all have a problem with nude photography if it is tastefully done.
