What did your parents say to you? did it hurt (of course, but did it hurt that much?)?
It actually didn’t hurt until after when it got pulled or touched…much MUCH less painful than you would expect. My mom knew and thought it was cute after she saw it, and my dad said “thank you for getting a stud, not a ring.” I guess in some cultures a ring symbolizes slavery or prostitution. They know my heart, and since it wasnt out of rebellion or anything they didn’t mind at all :)
