Just take good pictures. Maybe add them to a couple groups so they’re out there for people to see? Be part of the community by commenting on other people’s work and building relationships with other photographers…i don’t know, it kind of happens over time.
I don’t aim to have a large “fan base” but if people happen to like my photos then great because I enjoy taking them.
Popularity can be a fickle thing in the Flickr world.
